The paper demonstrates improved structural low-frequency vibroacoustic performance of cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor panels by informed selection the wood material. use species and strength classes that are not traditionally assigned to CLT was investigated in order study their influence on dynamic characteristics response metrics. potential each orthotropic material properties alternate vibration examined determine governing parameters performance. effects transfer mobility functions, eigenfrequencies mode shapes were used for a rigorous panels. It found using laminations with stiffness typical hardwoods ash, beech, birch can significantly improve panel, they outperform softwood classes.
